Caring For Kids From Coast To Coast
Valerie A. Weir of Pheonix, Az. Says she is counting the days until she comes to Sacramento to ride with Kross Kountry-4-Kids a Journey-4-Justice, “This ride is a commitment to our kids and an amazing opportunity to gather support for children from coast to coast” Weir explans.Going on to share her excitement to be serving as the National Events & Outreach Coordinator for the journey, setting up gatherings with the team along the route.
Weir says her goal is to get as many groups as possible to connect with the team while they travel from Sacramento to Washington DC and back in order to enhance outreach and increase awareness. “We are on the road for two weeks during National Child Abuse Prevention Month pulling people together for this important cause” Weir says. Route stops include: Bakersfield,CA.,Flagstaff,AZ.,Alburquerque,NM,Oklahoma City OK,Little Rock,Ak.,Nashville Tn.,Ronoke VA.,Washington DC.,Knoxville TN.,Texarkarma Tx.,Midland Tx.,Tucson Az. and Rancho Cucamunga,CA.
Weir is seeking out families, businesses, service groups, clubs and faith based communities in these regions to host gatherings that will generate awareness and resources for the cause.Expaining those involved can host a dinner or breakfast for the team,load the chase vehicle with needed supplies, provide fuel for riders, escort them in or out of town and assist in promoting the campaign as well as cause.
Kross Kountry-4-Kids a Journey-4-Justice will also be traveling with the Army of Angels Mobilizing America Quilt Project, an artful tribute to young crime victims and their family members, groups hosting the team for functions will have an opportunity to display the quilt panels during their functions.
