Kaiser Permanente employees make it a true season of giving throughout the community

Kaiser Permanente employees make it a true season of giving throughout the community

The holiday season is one of many times throughout the year when the people of Kaiser Permanente come together to touch the lives of those in the community.

Physicians and staff in the greater Sacramento region helped make it a happy holiday for those in need, giving to dozens of projects from toy and book drives to shoe and food collections. Some physicians even took children on their own shopping sprees.

Kaiser Permanente doctors and several departments were among those who jumped into action to help at the last minute when a local agency was short gifts for some of its clients. A truck loaded with more than 200 presents donated by Kaiser Permanente staff was delivered to families in the Sacramento Area Emergency Housing Center (SAEHC).
